I had been trying to find a good way to learn Japanese for quite a while. I went from YouTube, to other websites, to searching the App Store and downloading any app that looked good. I expected to be disappointed, as I usually am, but this is really helpful. Its like flash cards, but not as boring. I definitely recommend this to anyone interested in learning.

after a day of two when looking back at the words i studied under "words for today" everything before the current date would show "this list is empty" this has been a problem for all of my nemo language apps

I love this app, its awesome because you not only learn the language you also learn how to speak it with it sounding so American!

This app is truly amazing. I mean, sugoi! I love that I can leave it on while I go about my daily household chores. Wash the dishes, learn Japanese. Fold the laundry, learn Japanese. You get the idea. Even my 5 year old has picked up some words! I also love that the words are color-coded. It helps me know which words are more important and which ones I should review more frequently. Im currently learning Hiragana, so its great that the words show how they are written as well as in romaji for easy pronunciation. My conversational Japanese sounds so much better, as well. I

Love the style of the individual lessons. Where it lacks is overall organization and guided review of what you already covered.

This is a great app for someone who knew no Japanese to get by communicating with the locals in a short amount of time

I really like this app. The playback audio and the several ways they allow you to learn and review the language is awesome. I especially like that I can change the settings to fit my learning curve. As soon as I can Im upgrading to the full version.

This is the single best app to learn Japaneee online. Very easily one picks up vocabulary and meanings. Great!

Im using this app along with a few other. This app is great for learning new words and testing yourself. It does not show you grammar, culture aspects, etc. I would give it 5 stars if it allow you to choose what words to study and remove the one youve learned. It also would be nice to have a counter showing how many words are left to review.

This is one of, if not the best language-learning program Ive ever used! It puts Rosetta Stone to shame. The only downside is that if you want to proceed further past the first few learning sections then theres an additional charge. The program is so good, though, that Im willing to mostly overlook that, and may be even willing to buy it at a later point!

There was no price associated with download, however I was charged immediately. I will be disputing charge, that is not right!

I have taken some Japanese lessons many years ago. This app is a good refresher for an upcoming trip to Japan. Clearly, it is good for words and short phrases only, but that is a good icebreaker.

Great Japanese app! My whole family love playing it in the car. Allows for practice and help w/ pronunciation.

Favorite. Bought the paid version too. My favorite part is the voice learning. Where the speaker says the word, you repeat. Then you hear yourself and the speaker. So you can see how well you are doing.
